A man can't speak to ladies. His friend makes things happen but with 2 man-killing sisters looking for a virgin man to sacrifice to bring daddy back from the dead.

Didn’t expect much more other than the usual and was pleasantly surprised. As this film is horrifying yet fun and always seems to have a sense of humor about it.

The film has alluring ladies leading those who dare decide to date them And go home With them their doom. Though it is understandable that male lust overpowers any good judgement and safety just for a chance with them. It never becomes exploitive but always stays funny and surprising. The humor was more unexpected. The film has an anxious energy. That helps thrill the audience. The film is more modestly budgeted which makes it feel all the more real and plausible.

Written by and starring Danny Morgan who does good as an unconventional lead and having Michael Soscha who looks like the British version of Jake Gyllenhaal more as the good looking comedic sidekick who is more experienced but seems more silly. As the horn dog wild card best friend. Who only seems to get them in deeper trouble but actually half the time seems like he might have saved them.

Kelly Wenham is like an action movie star only here more a villain and practically a human terminator for her characters determination and handiwork. As her and her characters sister provide meaning to the saying “be careful what you wish for” As they are like walking fantasies who become literal nightmares.

Can definitely identify with the lead and his nervousness m. As we get to learn about him we can see why his character is the way he’s is as we slowly learn their histories and motivations which are pretty basic in more the modern sense.

It’s not setting the film world on fire but a good sleeper film. Where the quality is better than you would expect even when staying small and it has plenty of replay value.

It’s not totally predictable and you actually can say you like and enjoy most of the characters. As it seems everyone they come across on this double date is more a guest star. after some false promise at first of maybe finding the right girl under his own nose then the film issues more to have an excuse for a alter scene that the movie veering off to a different yet hilarious direction.

Though late in the film there is a wedge that is placed between two characters that seems to come out of nowhere and seems more done for convenience.

The film does play some cinematic story tricks as the male friends female friend seems like she could be an alternative love interest for the lead but ends up going nowhere. As she becomes more of a comedic character and a set up for a comedic set piece.
