Young orphan Gilly finds out his lover Jo may actually be his biological sister. After they break up he discovers he's not related and travels across the country to stop her impending wedding. Unfortunately the entire nation has heard the same story and thinks he's just after incestuous thrills.

Just what the world was waiting for an incest comedy. Now while the movie is in bad taste luckily it is a movie that uses that premise and the backlash it causes as far as reputation for it’s comedy.

While not directed by The Farelley brothers it is in their wheelhouse. Using the idea of gross comedy to try and sell jokes to the mainstream. Hoping for others who can see the humor in bad taste. Not to mention putting more characters with disabilities on the big screen.

The film is very episodic, as it jumps around randomly at times from joke to joke that only seem there more for humor then actually pushing the film or it’s plot forward.

The film seems out to offend or gross out everyone. In fact that’s what the movie more feels like, Like it’s built out on shock. Which has worked in the past for the producers of the film. The Farrelley brothers, but then also present the jokes and situations that feel more like they belong on a sitcom more than anything else. The film was supposed to be originally directed by Peter Berg. Whose directorial debut was VERY BAD THINGS which was also dipped in bad taste all around. Yet was much more darker. Though he eventually went onto direct action movies for the most part.

The Characters are either stupid yet good hearted or over the top evil.

The filmmakers seem determined to make classic comic characters, but seem like they are in on the joke instead of just trying to make a memorable character this method would be the same later with the film THE HEARTBREAK KID.

It seems like a film made to be built on the comedic cast and the baggage they bring where you can't believe what they are doing and find them funny doing it as they need have before. Here you have actors playing the lead who had hits or were mildly recognizable yet not stars with baggage or other memorable roles to define them.

Chris Klein is not the greatest comedic performer. Here he just seems to take the abuse and what happens in the scene but his character never seem to learn from his mistakes. Nor does he ever seem to hold any resentment. So he is supposed to be one of the nicest guys in the world who keeps taking punishment and comes off as a schlub.

The film seems glossy for no reason other than maybe To make it's initial plot not seem so gross. Afraid of it’s own material. Yet wants to present it. When it ends up not so strong or what is expected.

The film is bad and over the top constantly. It just feels like it adds outlandish situations and characters to keep building momentum for no reason and never pays off. Not makes any sense.

The film even seems to embarass the irreplaceable Sarah Silverman. While also using her for crude jokes that seem more cruel to her.

The film seems mean spirited yet there is no clear victims other than the audience. As the film is Dipped in gross, but here goes all in overboard.
