THE WORST fILMS OF 2011 (That i watched)
Now i know the list is shortish. Keep in mind i don't set out to see bad films. If a film get's bad reviews or just doesn't look interesting to me i don't bother seeing
it. So please no comments about certain films, Since most likely i didn't see them.
Like TRANSFORMERS 3
13. SUCKER PUNCH
This film is pretty bad and confusing, butit is shot well and visually it is interesting. Like a fanboy fantasy on celluloid. Who i think it was made for. Then it tries to say it is a female empowerment film, by makingthe females dress up in fetishistic costumes and then kicking the ass of the opressors on there own rules? Huh?
12. SLEEPING BEAUTY
Not the year for Emily Browning. Here she gives a brave performance. I just wish she hadbetter material that has a story to tell and a point.
11. THE GREEN HORNET
I like the cameo in the beginning, Christoph Waltz is hilarious. I also enjoyed the scene of the green hornet having a bounty put on his head throughoutthe underworld. That is all.
10. LONDON BOULEVARD
Great Cast, Great premise. What the hell Happened?
9. HORRIBLE BOSSES
8. NO STRINGS ATTACHED
7. RAMPART
6. THE FUTURE
5. THE ROOMMATE
4. JUST GO WITH IT
Who knew the movie FUNNY PEOPLE was going to be a premontion of the future of Adam Sandler films. After that film he reached any artistic peak he was goingto and now just takes onthe next horrible comedy he can sign to. The scary part is that him or his team of writers are the one's coming up with these films. It's not like the studio is sending him these films and he is just cashing a paycheck.
3. YOUR HIGHNESS
2. THE GREEN LANTERN
1. THE ARENA

Your Highness was pretty bad. When people ask me if it's worth seeing I usally tell them "If you don't expect anything of it, and are okay with something VERY stupid, it's okay." There were some good ideas, and good effects, but it really needed a rewrite. I mean, half the movie they talk in old-timey speak which is often very funny (the scene where they talk about how gay they are), but then the rest is modern and course. Pick a tone/style and stick to it! But I'll see Zooey Deschanel in anything, and she was in it far too little.
ReplyDeleteThe worst movies I saw this year were probably Beastly (pretty people who think they are ugly!) and One Day, which I called a symphony of haircuts. It was so awful.
*and by "course", I meant "coarse". Stupid lack of editing feature...
