MOVIES WATCHED IN MAY (2012)

MAY 2012 LIKE MIKE 7/10 WHITE ON RICE 7/10 Didn't understand was the main character stupid or just socially stupid, Maybe thingsgot lost in translation. Still it was a cute indie HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE ME? 8/10 a nice european film that get's really strange in the third act. Before that a nice jazzy love story where it seems the characters keep playing mind games and have trust issues. BROTHER ORCHID 7/10 It has some really funny scenes then it begins to drag CROOKLYN 8/10 GOODBYE FIRST LOVE 7/10 So close to being a classic PINKY 7/10 A racial classic that has been forgotten FRIGHT NIGHT (ORIGINAL) 8/10 It's been awhile, but nice to see the original again BRIDESMAIDS (2011) 8/10 Which i seem to see almost three times a month, Love it. CABIN IN THE WOODS (2012) 9/10 Best film i have seen this year... So far THE AVENGERS (2012) 9/10 And the second MELODY 7/10 Wish the print was a bit better, but itonly adds to it's charm. BEATS, RHYMES AND LIFE (2011) 9/10 THE DIVIDE 8/10 CHRONICLE 7/10 GREEN LANTERN: EMERALD KNIGHTS 6/10 FATSO 7/10 Foreign film not the Dom Deluise film of the same name. Not great,but this film really got to me and affected me. I guess i could relate partly to it. Would remake it myself. THE AMERICAN 7/10 Very 70's influenced. Slow burn, I surprisingly likedit though might have recast the lead though i do like geroge clooney and feel he is one of the rare leading men who is willing to do experimental roles. MOTHER'S DAY (2012) 8/10 loved this film. Featuring a true comeback performance by Rebecca DeMornay. MOONRISE KINGDOM 8/10 8 MILE 7/10 JUSTICE LEAGUE: DOOM 8/10 GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGENCE 6/10 WINGS OF DESIRE 8/10 Truly, Beautiful film FARENHEIT 451 7/10 I like it more for the scale and what they accomplished in the time period to make it look futuristic. Casting kind of off 1981 8/10 SHE'S THE MAN 7/10 MEAN GIRLS 9/10 FLATLINERS 6/10 HATFIELDS & THE McCOYS 7/10 SPEECHLESS 5/10 If only the script would have been tighter and a little more serious and had more stakes.
