THE BEST FILMS OF 2011 (At least i think so)

Now before we get there here are some films i didn't get a chance to see that seem to be making many lists. SHAME, TINKER TAILOR SOLDIER SPY, THE ARTIST, IDES OF MARCH, JANE EYRE, A SEPERATION.

SPECIAL MENTIONS
These films didn't make the list only because they weren't released officially in 2011 but that is the year i saw them and they are all excellent and deserve to be seen.

THE WILD HUNT
BAARIA
HOUSE
THE HOUSEMAID.

Now without furthur adieu, The list you have been waiting for

THE BEST FILMS OF 2011

24. BELLFLOWER
A good first attempt,One man's journey into love and heartbreak and the aftermath. Personal filmmaking not as Delicate and artsy as other films. This film is haunting and disturbing. Easy to dismiss, but the more i thought about this film the more it meant to me.

23. WARRIOR
This film came as a total surprise. It's entertaining with a story we have seen before that manages to make it new and emotionally resonant for the audience. Emotional but still a guy's movie that women will enjoy.

22. RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES
Well made and better then it should be.

21. CAPTAIN AMERICA
I know shocking isn't it. Nostalgic and one of the better Comic Book Movies. Though i would hate it and it ended up blowing Thor and Green Lantern out of the water.

20. 13 ASSASSINS
Takashi Miike Does it again, Beautiful landscapes and shots. Violent and an over 45 minute battle sequence. Push this film over the top to awesome.

19. BEGINNERS

18. LOVE CRIME

17. HARRY POTTER & THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2
The second half of a film. it can stand up on it's own

  1. Yeah, Captain America was great, right? Joe Johnston's best film since Honey I Shrunk the Kids.

I saw Jane Eyre; you didn't miss anything.

  2. I agree with the list except moneyball. Can't see why so many folks liked this show. Then again, I don't like baseball and I thought it was going to be about statistics :)
