A group of sorority sisters try to cover up the death of their house-sister after a prank gone wrong, only to be stalked by a serial killer.

Spoiler... This is a very sexist review --You know what you are getting into With this film and it provides what you seek. Thrilling moments, gore, girls in barely there clothing and some nudity.

The only problem with it is the same we find In all these modern day horror movies, but more with horror remakes. When it comes to nudity they never let it happen naturally or like it's nothing special these films more build up to it. Like letting the audience know here it comes, there should almost be a timer. Then there you go, your welcome. Like we should be grateful and it's always the girl who is in no kind of way the star. No the star will just be scantily clad a lot but the random model looking girl who can't act and who just appears. That will be the one, plus the breasts never look natural. They are nice to look at, but look fake.

I believe if the directors stopped putting so much effort into adding these scenes. Usually only on the u rated cut in DVD and focused on story, Character, acting and creating scares maybe these films would be better and better regarded.

These remakes feel like they don't care about the audience or making a good film. It seems like they are making disposable cinema. A product meant to entertain for short periods of time as there is nothing special about it that you will remember other then it's quality which is usually poor.

It's like filler that is why they are barely any remaining iconic horror characters today or any new ones for at least 20 years. I seems like only one comes along every decade ad the horror series that do or have a concept they use for each film and it's sequels seem I dilute their product by coming up with sequels each year or every other year ( SAW, PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, INSIDIOUS) hat don't let you actually miss the series and make each film inferior almost to the one before it with continuously ridiculous plots or begin repeating the style

Don't get me wrong this film has a few virtues. It reminds me of the class set-up for films of the 80's secrets and a who done it as we watch the suspects get eliminated y intricate death scenes. A feeling of wasted youth, mindless fun which makes it easier for the killer or killers to dispatch the unthinking victims.

The movie was originally intended to be R-rated, but after the success of 2008's PROM NIGHT remake, also passable if not very memorable, but at least had a different story then the film it sought to remake, Summit Entertainment planned to trim it to a PG-13 rating. However, the studio changed its mind, and decided to keep the movie as a solid R-rated movie.

Carrie fisher while it is a joy to see you, you deserve better than this as your role doesn't even provide any campiness to the rest of the film.

Which just feel like greasy popcorn entertainment. More of a distraction than Anything else

Here all of the female leads are attractive and most of he guys we douches, that you wonder why they are with them. As they are disposed of you realize the filmmakers set them up frothier characters to be distasteful so we will enjoy watching them get dispatched. They make us want to see the bloodshed.

This film had an ending that sets up something that makes no sense.

While of course the film leaves a final girl and a sense of empowerment .It makes the preceedings feel so sleazy that in the end it makes you wonder does it matter that she survived after being degraded so much throughout and to this point. The name of the college the girls attend is Rosman, named after Mark Rosman, the writer/director of the original film, as well as the executive producer of this film.

Spoiler

If the guy is suicidal and survives why would he come back as a Gardner and want to kill girls of the new sorority? When you have not set anything up for it?

Spoiler end

This is a horror film directed more like an action film

GRADE: C+
