The film plays like a live action comic book. a stlye that is set in modern times though everyone dresses and acts like it is the 1940;s and 50's that reminds one of SIN CITY. It's a cool concept about a gun for hire named Malone who goes to retrieve a suitcase with a myaterious object in it as everyone wants to find him and what's in the suitcase. There are double crosses, Femme Fatales all the juciy stuff a good pulp story needs. It's a dark humored film.

The film is weel thought out. It's smart i only wish it had a bigger budget to give it the sheen it deserves. It is definately more of a cult film which deserves a audience. All of the characters are over the top to the point of being comical. Even in tense dramatio scenes.

The film is violent and bloody. Death can come to any character at any moment. There are no innocents in this film. i find it interesting that star Thomas Jane played the punisher and one of the henchmen in this film Played one of the main villians in the sequel to THE PUNISHER, PUNISHER: WARZONE. Which Mr. Jane did not reprise his role in. Thomas Jane is a actor which in any other decade would be a top tier movie star. he has the looks and the talent. Once in awhile he does get a chance to be on the big screen in a leading role. Luckily for him other times he seems to be in projects that offer him a list of opportunities. \

Th thing that makes this movie interesting is the quirks. there are alot of them, but it never gets to a annoying degree. It;s just right amount to keep things ionteresting. One of the few changes i would make to the film is changing the lead actress. Sure she has the looks for her character but she is never believable in her role. It always seems like she is acting. It's not her accent i understand the role needs a foreigner to play it, but they could have found someone better to play the role.
